The Red Rose Motel + Tavern, located in Roscoe, New York, was originally built in 1938. I worked directly with Melissa Kawecki, who oversaw most of the restoration of the space. The Red Rose is a 7 room motel featuring a dine-in tavern and welcoming communal space for lodgers to sit back and relax. I got the pleasure of staying there during my shoot and it was the perfect escape from city life. Nearby you can hike local trails, participate in fly fishing, and explore the town of Roscoe as well as neighboring villages.
