PAFA Student Art Exhibition 2023 | Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing the PAFA Student Art Exhibition for the past couple of years and each year I am floored by the amount of talent that exists within the school. This exhibition is unlike any others I’ve worked on before. PAFA invites all of the donors, board members, organizations, and VIP members of their association to come and bid on the student’s work. This allowed these budding artists to have their work viewed by many leading members of the art community and have their work sold! Throughout the evening, red stickers appear on the artwork that has been sold and this is only the first day. I am so proud of these students and am saddened by the fact that after this year, PAFA is no longer continuing their BFA and MFA programs so 2024 is the final year of this annual exhibition.
